Kōun was hurrying through the Juban district - she'd had to hop off her train early when she got the call on her communicator that help was needed, and didn't bat an eye at how convenient it was she was just coming up to the Juban station at the time, she was used such luck - and as the crowds near the station finally thinned out she found a nice private spot to transform.
"Fortuna Asteroid Power! Make Up!"
As soon as the accompanying light faded, Sailor Fortuna leaped up onto a nearby sign post, using it as a starting point to get higher and leap from building to building until she reached the Fruits Parlour Crown building. Moving quickly she jumped back down to the ground floor and took in the situation.
"Hold it right there!" she yelled at the monster as it held Mamoru up, throwing her arm forward in the meantime and summoning her chakram. The monster only cackled in response and so Fortuna threw her weapon through the air at it, slicing through the arm that held the future king and releasing him. The cackling changed to a stilted screech as the monster turned to face her.
"Stay out of my way pesky senshi!" she spat out menacingly, but Fortuna was not put off, "Not on your life!" she said as her chakram returned to her, holding it up and ready to throw again. The monster scowled and called out "Estariation!" as Fortuna stepped towards her, causing tens of small hands to reach up from the ground and grab at her. Fortuna managed to avoid tripping - she never tripped, she was lucky that way - but was she was distracted kicking free of their grasp, Estra whipped her arm across Fortuna's face, scratching her, before gripping her wrist and forcing her to let go of the chakram and let it fade back into light particles. Fortuna dropped her shoulder and tried to charge into Estra in response, but Estra's grip on her arm remained strong and instead she was swung onto the floor and left gasping. As the small hands that had been fading were invigorated by another call of "Estariation" Fortuna managed to get one arm up off the ground and out of their grip and shout out "Luck's Gambit!" as she pointed at Estra, firing a beam of light at her.
The beam hit Estra and pushed her back, loosening her grip on Fortuna and giving her the chance to stand up again, but she was still moving. Fortuna grit her teeth and raised her arm again, firing off another Luck's Gambit and as she did so summoned her chakram in her other hand. The light hit into the monster and this time it paralysed her, allowing Fortuna to use this moment to throw her chakram at Estra's chest, yelling "Fortune's Favour!" while she did so. This final hit burst right through Estra's chest and her form disintegrated around it. As Estra fell apart Fortuna stepped towards Mamoru, who was now being cradled by Usagi, and asked if they were okay while giving no inclination that she knew who they were - there were still other people in the café after all. When they said they were, all she gave in response was a nod, before turning and leaving the building. She'd check in with them properly later on the communicator.
As Fortuna walked outside she looked up at the sky and thought about that strange creature who had approached her the last time she'd been in battle and pulled out the amulet he had given her. Maybe she should go to this sanctuary he mentioned?
