Sailor Leo - Act 1
Mission 1
The golem was an easy triumph for Athaleyah. While she might have been slightly outmatched in strength, the lion senshi made up for in speed and magical capabilities. The attack seemed pointed but out of nowhere. There must have been a reason and Leyah intended on finding out.
The gold armored senshi made haste in discovering the location she needed to travel for answers. The bit of paper from the clay demon yielded as much from the Zodiac Guardian Tower with little effort.
“Seems a bit too easy,” she mulled to herself while she watched the dot on the celestial map blink over Tokyo, Japan-Earth.
Azmer, her stubby legged mauian companion, spoke up, “thinking it could be a trap?”
Leyah half shrugged at the cream colored feline and answered, “could be. Could just be a group messing with powers beyond their comprehension. We won’t be certain until we find out for ourselves.”
“I was afraid you were going to say that,” he said with a small sigh.
Leyah half smiled at her ‘courageous’ friend and patted his head to calm him. “Everything is going to be ok,” she assured Azmer. He was not reassured.

Athaleyah and Azmer made it to their destination with no hassle. All arrangements had been made for their stay in Tokyo and quickly began their search for the temple connected to the golem attack.
“This is embarrassing,” Azmer hissed in a whisper through small gritted fangs.
Leyah forced back a smile as she chided her dear friend, “but it’s the easiest way to keep communication and to make sure you’re safe.”
Angry munchkin cat grumbling could be heard from the harness strapped around Leyah’s torso but anyone passing would have thought he was purring loudly. Only Leyah would have known he was cursing in his native language. This thought made the brunette chuckle internally.
Soon, their “stroll around the block” brought them to a business area. The place was bustling with people and soon the irritated Azmer was grateful for his current seating arrangement. The poor thing’s greatest nemesis had always been large crowds.
Their search for the temple quickly came to a halt as an altercation broke out in a cafe nearby. People were running away screaming about a monster of sorts.
Leyah assessed the gravity of the situation and made a run for an empty alleyway between two shops. There she freed Azmer from his confinement and transformed into Sailor Leo. She told the trembling kitty to stay there then bolted to the scene.
As soon as she entered the cafe, the monster lady whipped her free arm out at Leo while other was wrapped tightly around a young man’s neck while his girlfriend cried profusely for him. The attack was swift and knocked Leo back but the senshi was tough and recovered her footing.
Once back upright, Leo shouted, “Léōn’s Iram!” She used her body weight to send the razor attack into her intended target. The attack landed and loosened the monster’s grip on the man enough for his freedom. The lion senshi didn’t wait for the evil being to strike back before using her Liontári Ferio blasts one after another in a barrage until the long armed creature disintegrated to nothing.
Leo quickly made her escape while the targeted couple made an incredible scene at the front of the cafe. It almost seemed like they were helping her. Either way, she found Azmer where she left him, curled in a ball. Gently, she petted his soft fur and he unfurled himself.
“Is it over?” He asked assuming the answer.
Leyah answered with a nod and cradled Azmer the entire way back to their place of lodging to regroup and rest. Their search would seemingly take longer than originally expected.
