Backstory Millions and millions of years ago Sailor Chicxulub was in a grand battle with an ancient evil, her asteroid was sent off course, hurtling from outside the Solar System towards the Earth. It's crash caused the Cretaceous-Paleogene Extinction Event and killed the original Sailor Chicxulub. Despite the destruction of her home, her Sailor Crystal was kept from returning to the Galaxy Cauldron by her loyal companion Kukulkan, who tied it to the Earth. Millions of years later when the Silver Millenium fell and Queen Serenity set in motion the reincarnation of all its victims, Chicxulub's sailor crystal was caught up in the spell. Thousands of years later in the modern day Eternal Sailor Moon's dive into the Galaxy Cauldron sent a wave of magic through the galaxy, triggering the awakening of many senshi. Izel herself did not realise she was a senshi, but instead the original Sailor Chicxulub took over her body and transformed, finding and reviving her dear friend Kukulkan. She is careful not to interfere in Izel's life too much, but when she sensed the arrival of Emet on the Earth she started sending Kukulkan out to find new senshi so she could appear to them and bring them to the Alliance headquarters she had set up. |
