by fans of Sailor Moon to play as their Sailor Moon original characters. I've been working
on the battle system and trying to make it as simple and fun as possible. I have created it
here in order to make the system work as easily as possible with as little chance of cheating
as possible. What I hope to accomplish here is to bring together old and new fans and give them the chance to play as their characters with a way to actually level them up.
*Now on to the game and how to play*
Building your character
The canon senshi are not playable characters here. This is strictly for a fresh new character that is all yours. You may even already have a character designed which is great! If you don’t then this is a great opportunity to create one.
When you go to edit your profile under the preferences tab there are fields in which you will have to fill in information, character stats, character image and image credit. I will go into detail of each one and explain the significance.
Gender: This is pretty self explanatory. Just put whatever your character identifies as.
Faction: This is your alignment within the game. Pure is for characters that generally are good spirited and fight for peace and for the Moon Queen. Wicked is for characters that only care about what they want and don't mind destroying beings in the process. Rogue is for the characters that tend to stay neutral unless something affects them personally. You must choose one of these but you can change factions one time and only after your character reaches Level 5.
Type: This will determine what kind of powers your character will have and will influence how you design your character. They are the elements Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light and Dark. It doesn't influence the game but it's a creative part of your character. You may name your two attacks but only your Attack 1 should be named something that deals with your powers. Attack 2 is a physical attack so it should reflect something physical.
EX: Attack 1-Fire type: 'Flaming Arrows Descending'
Ex: Attack 2: 'Spinning Kick of Death'
FIELDS YOU CANNOT EDIT
These fields should not even show up in your edit profile.
Only staff may edit these as to keep cheating to a minimum.
Lvl: Every member starts at lvl 1.
Below I will explain leveling and how to go about it.
Health: Every member's starting health is 20. It will go up 10 points each time you level up. When battling your character's health will deplete when attacked.
Magic: Every member's starting magic points is 15. It will go up 5 points each time you level up. Your character's magic will deplete each time you use a magical stat in battle(explained below). Once you have used all of your magic points in a battle you can no longer use your magical stats. There are three magical stats-Transform, Weapon and your Attack 1.
STATS
These fields are ones you can only enter numbers into.
Starting at level 1, your character gets 10 Magical points and 10 Physical points to distribute to 3 Magical stats and 3 Physical stats. You cannot put any Magical points towards Physical stats and you cannot put Physical points towards Magical stats. Once you have set your stats, you may not change them.
Transform: (Magical) This stats is your speed and you only use this once at the beginning of a battle. When in battle, you will roll the dice with the dice button in the post editor and add the number given with the number of points you give this stat. The dice roll and the number you had given to this stat will be your speed and will determine if you or your opponent will go first. your speed number will deplete from you Magic points.
Weapon: (Magical) This stat does not have to necessarily be a weapon. It could be your character's fists, bracelet, etc. You may add the number of points you set here with your Attack 1 or your Attack 2. When you use this stat the number of points you give to this stat will deplete your Magic points.
Attack 1: (Magical) This stat is your first attack and is magical. When you use this stat the number you give this stat will deplete your Magical points.
Attack 2: (Physical) This stat is your second attack and is physical. When you battle with this stat no numbers deplete and you can add the number you set for it and your Strength stat or your weapon stat. The weapon stat number will still deplete your magical points though.
Strength: (Physical) This stat is meant to be used with your Attack 2. It cannot be used/added with your Attack 1. Your Strength stat is meant to be an extra 'umph' to your attack. No numbers deplete when you use this stat.
Endurance: (Physical) This is your last stat that is meant to be your defense in battle. When you use this stat in battle, it is to defend your health points against an opponent's attack. You can use this stat whenever you want in a battle but once you have used all of the points you have given to this stat, you can no longer use it in that battle.
Leveling
This is probably the best part of the game.
You actually get to level up your character. It might not be as fast paced as you or I would like but it's what we have as of right now. I am constantly looking for ways to make things faster and easier though.
Now, how you will level your character up is through gaining experience points. You gain experience points through completing missions. There will be various missions which include fighting enemies, finding items, and helping NPCs(non-player characters) with tasks.
Starting at level 1, your character will have a set amount of EXP to gain to reach the next level. There will be a level cap until more content is added. The current level cap is 10.
In tradition of the Sailor Moon universe, your character will have power up(super, eternal, etc.) Right now, there will only be one power up available at lvl 10.
EXP Til Next LVL
Level 1-40 EXP | Level 6-1280 EXP |
Level 2-80 EXP | Level 7-2560 EXP |
Level 3-160 EXP | Level 8-5120 EXP |
Level 4-320 EXP | Level 9-10240 EXP |
Level 5-640 EXP | Level 10-Cap |
Your character's first power up will be: -SUPER-
