Backstory: Nebula and her twin sister, Nova, are angels from an unknown realm that no Senshi has heard or even seen, called The Celestial Realm. The Celestial Realm's seers saw a great tragedy concerning Sailor Cosmo's death and the fate of her newborn daughter. An Elder Angel sends them both to be their guardians on Earth. Unfortunately, the two sisters get separated during the journey down and only Nebula arrives. She’s sent to a specific place in the world’s timeline to protect Sailor Cosmos and her daughter, named Princess Purity, who are descendants of Sailor Moon. When Nebula’s physical self is revealed to the Senshi, Sailor Cosmos, she is given the ability to have the power and form of a Senshi as well. When Purity is sent away they are attacked by Nebula’s twin sister. They learn that her sister, Sailor Nova, is no longer a pure angel but dark and has fallen from grace. Nova has sided with the darkness, which manifests as a creature named Chaos. They want to destroy Sailor Cosmos, her daughter, and also their ancestors. They want to wipe out the entire family line. Sailor Nebula must protect them at all costs. |
